Unrest in Yerevan-law enforcers arrested opposition leaders and dispersed rally by force

The situation in Yerevan has been strained - law enforcers detained opposition leaders and raided the protest rally. The unrest started after the police did not allow the participants to approach the administrative center. Nicola Pashinian tried to negotiate with law enforcers and advised them to go to the side of the people. During the negotiations police detained the opposition leader, after which the protesters were trying to break the cordon. The law enforcers used special operation to disperse protesters, but the rally was not over. Demonstrators moved to other streets and demanded the release of opposition leaders. The protest rally was resumed after meeting Nicola Pashinian and Serzh Sargsyan in Yerevan. The main topic of the talks was the statement of the prime minister, who named the terms of resignation. According to the media, the meeting soon ended. Sarkgsyan accused Nicola Pashinian of blackmail and left the meeting.
