Bribery in exchange for winning tender - Law enforcers detained employee of Samtredia City Hall

The Anti-Corruption Agency has arrested a head of one of the Samtredia Municipality"s City Hall on bribery.

It was established that the detainee demanded from the company, which won 2 tenders , 500 and 700 GEL .

Investigation is in progress on bribery, which envisages from 6 to 9 years imprisonment.

Valery Potskhveria, the mayor of Samtredia Municipality, says he does not know the details of the incident.
