The 3-day conference of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly has ended in Batumi . More than 100 representatives from over 20 countries have attended the meeting. The main topic of discussion was the security issues in the region and challenges related to Russia.
"The seminar was very important for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly because we had the opportunity to better understand what was happening in the South Caucasus region. We have focused not only on Georgian but Armenia, Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries as well. We understand that Georgia plays an important role in this region, " - said Paolo Ali, president of the North Atlantic Alliance Parliamentary Assembly.
