One of the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained one person on the Chavchavadze Avenue in Tbilisi on the fact of shooting a firearm.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reports that the detention was made on the basis of the notice posted on May 18 in the first section of the Vake-Saburtalo division.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the operative-investigative actions carried out on the basis of the notification revealed that the shot was carried out by L.R., born in 1979. The law enforcers detained him for the illegal purchase-keeping and carrying of firearms.
Investigation is in progress under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies illegal purchase and keeping of firearms.
