The ministers respond to the Georgian Patriarchate"s announcement, which calls on to boycott the broadcasting company "Rustavi 2".
The Patriarchate also urges the authorities to take effective and quick steps to create a protective legal and other mechanisms for the society.
Dimitri Kumsishvili does not speak about the request of the Patriarchate, which asks the ruling team to change the legislation.
According to him, the TV company and the Patriarchate have right to make statements. According to him, the society will decide which position they will support.
"Rustavi 2 and the Patriarchate as well can make statements. It is up to them and society should decide itself, how to react on any statement,"- stated the first Vice Premier of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development .
