Shota Khabareli leaves the executive committee sitting of the Judo Federation in protest

Shota Khabareli, the First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Sports and Youth Affairs committee has left the sitting of the Judo Federation Executive Committee in a protest.


According to Shota Khabareli, the protest was caused by issues, discussed at the meeting. According to Khabareli, it is unclear when the committee session discusses the issue of coach and not judokas" problems.

According to Khabareli, when the national team refuses to train, it is not clear why the Judo Federation elects the coach.

The issue of a new coach was discussed at today"s meeting of the Executive Committee. According to the Judo Federation President, they will not consider reasons of protest.

At the same time, athletes" protest continues. Judoists still do not practice. They demand Kevkhishvili"s resignation and are waiting for Bidzina Ivanishvili"s response to their joint statement.
