The trial of Zviad Kuprava and three more detainees is underway at the City Court.

The court must decide what kind of preventive measure will be applied to the persons detained on the rally on Rustaveli this morning.

As Zviad Kuprava said at the trial, the government is trying to get rid of him.

"The decision on my detention was taken personally by Minister. My detention is political, the government wants me to leave these processes. Black PR from government channels also serves this aim, "said Kuprava.

Kuprava demands to postpone the process because he said he has evidence to collect.

The representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not agree with Zviad Kuprava"s request, .

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcers detained rally participants under Articles 166 and 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
