Exotic Decision - Opposition Responds to Formation of a Temporary Government

Mamuka Bakhtadze, the candidate for the PM, demands the trust of the government with the old program and old faces.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili"s time program "Liberty Fast Development" has been registered in the Parliament today.

Georgia will have a temporary government over the next three weeks. Bakhtadze says that ministries will be reduced from 14 to 11 and it will take time. As for the ministers who have resigned, their posts will be taken up by their deputies .

It is known that Acting Minister of Economy will be Dimitri Kumsishvili"s deputy, Genadi Arveladze, and former Minister of Finance Mamuka Bakhtadze Nikoloz Gagua, Davit Zalkaliani will be nominated as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The opposition demanded the Chairman of the Parliament to make explainations on the technical government presented by Bakhtadze.

Sergo Ratiani, a member of the parliamentary faction "European Georgia", said today that an exotic situation is in power when formal approval of the government is taking place.

"When the government is approved it"s natural that it does not happen in a day ... just really, we"re dealing with some kind of exotic situation and there is no change, in fact, the old government will be approves" - said Sergo Ratiani.

Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, explained in reply to the MPs that reorganization of the government needs relevant changes in the law, which could not be completed within a week.
