A 62-year-old man attempted suicide and hit himself with a knife in the stomach. Sergo Khasoev named as the reason the constant pressure and harassment by the policemen.

The man recounts the last incident in conversation with the "Courier" when he was arrested and brutally beaten by policemen. On June 7,he was going to a free dinerwhen the law enforcers approached him at the bus stop and demanded the identity card, then pushed him in the car and beat him. The policemen launched a case against Khasoev for resisting the law enforcers.

According to him, he was convicted of stealing and was sentenced to imprisonment in 2016, after which he said that the police put pressure on him.
Prosecutor"s Office works on possible abuse of authority by law enforcers. The materials were sent to the investigative department by the General Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
