A Candidate for the Minister of Defense was asked about the state procurement that is related to the company of Petre Devrishadze, accused of espionage in favour of Russia.

The opposition wants to know, why Devrishadze, convicted is espionage wins tenders announced by the Defense Ministry". Giorgi Kandelaki, a member of "European Georgia" asked Levan Izoria, whether he thinks that this fact is a failure of the agency.

Levan Izoria said that the law on state procurement was adopted in 2005. So the situation is not a failure of the agency, but it is an embarrassment.

According to Izoria the situation can be solved only with legislative restrictions. According to him, it is necessary to make certain amendments to the law in order to avoid such inconvenience.
