Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia accuses the president of lying and disrespect of the constitution.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, Giorgi Margvelashvili misled the society when he said that Tornike Rizvadze, a chairman of the Adjara government was chosen by him. As Kobakhidze claims, the President had a symbolic role in the process of nomination candidate.

"The president should act in accordance with the constitution and he should make remarks in accordance with the Constitution. It is incorrect to mislead the society. The President lies, He has not chosen anybody,"- said Irakli Kobakhidze.
A special briefing was held at the Presidential Administration yesterday. The President named Torkine Rizvadze"s candidacy.
