The national currency has devaluated by the end of the week. According to official data, in the last 24 hours lari has fallen by almost 7 tetri against the dollar. According to the rate established by the National Bank, the official price of one dollar reached GEL 2.5339, while the value of one dollar was 2.4687 GEL.

The cost of the dollar is much higher in commercial banks. One American dollar is worth 2 lari and 62 tetri, more expensie by almost 12-14 tetri.

The GEL was depreciated with respect to euro. According to the National Bank of Georgia, it will cost 2.9061 GEL per 1 euro. While yesterday"s current rate was 2.8622 GEL.
