The traffic on the Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo road was banned. According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the land collapsed at the intersection of Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo motorway due to intense rain and therefore the movement of all types of traffic is prohibited on this section of the road.

According to the agency, appropriate equipment is mobilized on the ground and clearing works are intensively carried out in order to restore movement in Tusheti in the shortest possible time.
