13 million lari on salaries and services - audit report on presidential administration

The president"s administration responded to the conclusion published by the State Audit on the expenses incurred by the head of state and its administration in 2017.

Kakha Kozhoridze, Adviser to the President of Georgia on Human Rights and Justice, said that the audit agency entered due to the willi of the president"s administration.

Kozhoridze explains that the president"s administration has nothing to hide.

According to the conclusion of the controlling body, in 2017, GEL 13 million was spent on salaries and services in the presidential administration, including two million GEL as supplements and bonuses.

According to the report of the audit, the President paid an additional two million GEL in addition to the salary.

The bonuses and supplements as the audit office found out, were issued monthly in the administration. Financial audit covers 2017, with a total of 120 employees.
