Alexander Lukashenko has dismissed the government. The President of Belarus dismissed Prime Minister, Vice-Premier and head of several departments and appointed new ministers in their place. Sergei Roma will be the country"s prime minister.

According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, this was not a spontaneous decision and he lost the patience .

The President explained that he would never work with people who have different views about the country"s development course.

The government crisis began in Belarus on 13 August when the president visited one of the regions. Aleksandr Lukashenko was dissatisfied with realization of the region"s development program.
