Russian Church threatens Constantinople to break off relations. The statement was made by the Russian Synod representative, Metropolitan Ilarion on TV company "Rassia".

According to him, the ecclesiastical diplomacy has exhausted itself in dialogue with the world Patriarch on Ukraine.

The Metropolitan recalled the visit of Patriarch Kirill to Istanbul and said that the Constantinople side not only did not take into account their interests, but acted unworthily.

According to Ilarion, if the Church of Ukraine is granted autocephaly, Russia will take retaliatory measures.
