"Getting Council members" support is quite difficult" - High Council of Justice continues to discuss changes in the rules of selection of judges

The High Council of Justice continues to discuss changes in the rules of selection of judges. Non-judge members are demanding transparency of the process and for this purpose they demand to take into account the recommendations of the Young Lawyers" Association.

Nazi Janezashvili says that the representatives of the Council, which are close to the "Georgian Dream", do not share their initiatives, which may be the basis for the end of the process in the future.

Dimitri Gvritishvili, a member of the High Council of Justice, states that a majority of the recommendations submitted by GYLA will be taken into consideration when considering the amendments to the rule of selection of the candidate for the judge.
