Merabishvili"s health condition - United Opposition appeals to the president to pardon the former Prime Minister

United Opposition asks Giorgi Margvelashvili to pardon Vano Merabishvili. The special statement was made today at the office of the Movement.

The case concerns the health condition of the former Prime Minister, which, according to Merabishvili"s lawyers, worsens every day.

The United Opposition imposes full responsibility for Vano Merabishvili"s health on to the President of Georgia and the Minister of Justice.

"The Ministry of Justice should immediately start to discuss Ivane Merabishvili"s conditional release, The president should make the last move and pardon Ivane Merabishvili till the end of his presidential term," said Mamuka Gamkrelidze, the founder of the Georgian organization "Georgia Among Leaders".
