The Tbilisi City Court will discuss the preventative measures in the case of Gia Tvalavadze. The Prosecutor"s Office requests pre-trial detention for the head of the Medical Regulatory Agency. However, the lawyer hopes that the preventive measures against Gia Tvalavadze will not be used at all because there is no evidence of the crime. The investigation accuses him of abuse of power The case concerns the sale of pharmacy drugs and psychotropic medicines without prescription. The trial of Tvalavadze and 6 detainees will be held today.
