Court hearing on preventive measures for to persons involved in kidnapping of businessman Dekanoidze"s son will be held today

The court will discuss the case ofpreventive measures for 10 persons accused of kidnapping Giorgi Dekanoidze, the son of a businessman Amiran Dekanoidze. The trial is scheduled at 12:00 in Tbilisi City Court.

It is known that the Prosecutor"s Office demands imprisonment of detainees as a preventive measure. All 10 persons were charged yesterday night.

Yesterday, the MIA said that the officers of Tbilisi police and Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police as a result of a special operations in Imereti and Tbilisihave arrested a 10-member criminal group simultaneously.

"Investigation established that the detainees illegally detained a young man born in 1995 on a street in Tbilisi and took him in an unknown direction," the statement reads.
