Ukrainian Patriarch Filaret reminded the Georgian Orthodox Church in an interview with Radio Liberty that he was in similar situation when he lost his autocephaly following the Russian state.

The Patriarch Filaret says that the Georgian Church will eventually support the Church of Ukraine. In an interview, Filaret also noted that after the initiation of autocephaly for the Ukrainian Church he had no contact with the Georgian Patriarch.
