In whose sick mind was idea to put an insulting equal sign between the Christmas tree and demonstration of fathers, whose children were killed - Kaladze

A Mayor of Tbilisi has begun a meeting with the City government with a discussion of a demonstration, which is underway on Rustaveli Avenue.

According to Kakha Kaladze, it is untrue that the protesters were prohibited to demonstrate due to the Christmas tree.

"I repeat once again that this is a very big lie. In this regard, we spoke about a few days ago. In early November, Zaza Sarlidze sent a letter to me and informed that she wanted to continue to demonstrate till December 31. The letter was followed by the response from the municipality.

"The City Hall has planned the New Year events from December 15 to the end of the month and we were obliged to respond in three days.

"The biggest disaster and really unbelievable for me is in whose sick mind came to the idea to put an insulting equal sign between the Christmas tree and demonstration of fathers, whose children were killed.
"This is another clear example of how " Rustavi2 " the television, owned by UNM works. The head of this television was speaking about it himself.

"This is categorically unacceptable, it is the propaganda of the lie . The whole editorial policy is based on falsehood and hatred," said Kakha Kaladze.
