Stephen Nix, Head of IRI Monitoring Group of the International Republican Institute, is in Tbilisi.

On the day of the election 6 groups of the organization will work in 5 regions, observers will work in Tbilisi and monitor polling process.

"We are still looking at pre-election processes. We have already studied election campaigns and will look at the election day and make our assessments after the second round. IRI is represented by a small observation mission and will monitor the processes in the regions during the day. I am hoping that it will be a well-organized election process and the the election will be held in a calm environment.Hopefully, the society will respects its results after the end of the elections, "- says Steven Nix, Head of IRI International Observation Mission.
