The sixth ceremony of awarding human rights defenders was held on the International Women"s Rights Day in Tbilisi.
The award was established by the Women"s Fund in Georgia in 2013 and every year one human rights defender is awarded.

This year, the Foundation decided to focus on young human rights defenders and in this way support their activities.
