The children of the first president of Georgia have been on hunger strike at the Prosecutor"s Office for the second day.
Konstantine and Tsotne Gamsakhurdia are dissatisfied with the investigation that may be closed soon due to the limitation period.
Gamsakhurdia said that the government tried in 2015 to change the qualification of the case and continue the investigation under the qualification of the murder case, but the actual step was not taken.
The sons of the first president suspect that the people involved in the killing of Zviad Gamsakhurdia have patrons in the acting government.
" If no one is charged, the 25-year-long investigation will be closed as soon as 25 years expire according to the law. The Organic Law,
should be changed so that in exceptional circumstances the investigation can be prolonged, "says Constantine Gamsakhurdia.
