Damaged cars and beaten protesters - situation in Gurjaani still tense

In Gurjaani, the situation is still tense. There was another confrontation between members of the United Opposition and law enforcers.
The protesters were going to go to Telavi to attend the rally but the police do not allow them to do so.
The inauguration of Salome Zourabichvili has already been completed but the representatives of the opposition and their supporters are still unable to move.
Participants of the rally are asking patrol police to give them the right to leave the area but they are not allowed to do so.
Kakhaber Sabanadze, deputy interior minister, says that law enforcers do not plan to open the road so far.
The participants of the rally are trying to break through the artificial barriers by their own forces and free the road from cars.
Due to the confrontation, several cars are damaged on the ground, including those belonging to the united opposition column.
"He told me two times that he would open the road , and on the contrary, he brought the special forces, added forces to resist our people. This is just a violence, we are going to negotiate, we want to agree, and they violate all agreements, "Giorgi Vashadze said.
According to Vashadze, they will force the law enforcers to open the road for the protestors to move towards Telavi.
