The President will nominate three candidates for the CEC Chairmanship until the end of the day.
NGOs offered Salome Zurabishvili 4 candidates as a result of consultations yesterday.They are: Tamar Zhvania, who may be elected for the second term, CEC secretary Giorgi Javakhishvili, head of the Civil Society and Democracy Development Center, Vladimer Bozadze and Mariam Shelegia, the government administration officer. Shelegia is included in the list of donors of the Georgian Dream. She donated 10 thousand GEL in 2013 to the party.
Salome Zourabichvili will nominate three of the CEC candidates. Members of the election administration must elect one through secret ballots. The consent of four members of the CEC will be required.
