Shooting in Vera - armed attack in Tbilisi may be linked to friends of ex-president, Giorgi Margvelashvili"s son-in-law .There was shooting a few hours ago n Vera.
The target was the man who was sitting in a car.The car was moving towards Melikishvili Street, when he was shot. According to the information available, the driver, after the shooting, continued driving and crashed into a vehicle parked nearby the Philharmonic Concert Hall.
Eyewitnesses reported that they heard a 5-6 shots. Eyewitnesses have been taken to the police station and their questioning is underway.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation was launched under Article 19-108 and 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving an attempted murder and illegal purchase and storage of firearms.
