Eka Beselia, MP, will hold a meeting with non-governmental organizations today to discuss the selection criteria for judges in the Supreme Court.
The third sector demands to end the clan rule in the court and increase the number of their representatives in the working group. As it is known, the civil sector has the right to have one member in the working group.
"Everything should be done for the members of this clan to leave the judiciary. In other cases, the criteria for appointing judges of the first and second instances are defined, but despite that, a judge like Murusidze received 95 points. This means that the law alone is not enough , "- said Eka Gigauri, Director of Transparency International Georgia.
