I make decisions in line with the legislation and our belief - Tskitishvili on contact with "Gazprom"

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili responds to opposition`s statements that Russian energy company "Gazprom" is trying to talk the Georgian government to agree on the cabal terms of the contract .
Maia Tskitishvili accuses the opponents in political speculation.
The Vice-PM states that in connection with Gazprom the Georgian government will act in accordance with the country"s interests .
"As Vice Prime Minister and member of this government, of course, first of all, I would say that we have not made any decision that would damage our country. We have heard such speculations
regarding Gazprom too, and as we have not seen neither the cabal conditions nor have we been under any special pressure, we take our decisions as it complies with legislation and ,of course, our faith, "said Maia Tskitishvili.
The contract with "Gazprom" expired on December 31, 2018. According to the current information, negotiations between the Russian company and the Georgian side have not yet begun. Opponents of the government say that the Russian energy giant is trying to persuade Georgia to agree to cabal conditions.
According to them, this is the reason for delaying the new contract conclusion.
Whether the talks are ongoing or what the Georgian government is demanding from the Russian energy giant in exchange for transit of gas to Armenia i unknown.
The Prime Minister of Georgia only says that Georgia is not going to refuse the transport function.
