Zaza Saralidze and Malkhaz Machalikashvili paid tribute to the memory of those killed in the Great Dighomi explosion. Father of Datuna Sarlidze"s killed in Khorava Street and he faher of Temirlan Machalikashvili killed as a result of the Pankisi special operation were in Kashveti Church.
Yesterday the bodies of the victims were transported to Kashveti Church. The family members and relatives of the deceased were gathered there. The civil funeral procession took place all day long. Patriarch of Georgia conduced the service. The victims will be buried today.
"It"s not only for these families, it"s a great tragedy for all of Georgia. Which is very painful for every person and I feel pain as well. I am very worried and very sorry for these families. God has blessed everyone in the world and remembers their souls, it"s very painful and sad, "Malkhaz Machalikashvili said.
A powerful explosion in Didi Dighomi caused a collapse of the residential building four days ago. Four people were killed, including a 4 -year-old child. 8 people were injured during the explosion.
The Interior Ministry has detained two employees of KazTransGas, who are charged with negligence by the investigation.
