Lithuania will continue to support Georgia in the future as well as on its way to European and Euro-Atlantic integration, - Dalia Grybauskaite has made a statement at the meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia.

The sides have discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Lithuania in the region and the challenges facing Georgia. Support of European partners and friends, including Lithuania"s special support in dealing with these challenges, was underlined.

It was noted that Georgia is the leader of the Eastern Partnership and the EU approach " more for more" is more relevant in relation to Georgia The President of the Republic of Lithuania positively assessed the ongoing reforms in the political, economic and military fields.
