When the European Court of Justice makes a decision, state has an obligation to execute it,- Tsulukiani speaks on the Strasbourg decision

A Minister of Justice comments on the decision of the Strasbourg Court and Russia"s response. According to Tea Tsulukiani, all countries have the obligation to fulfill the decision of the European Court and Russia will be no exception.

"We have a fact that the Russian Federation is a contracting party of the European Convention on Human Rights. ... The Article 46 states that when the European Court announces a decision regarding the state, this state has an obligation to fulfill it. This obligation is in force,"- Tea Tsulukiani says.


The official Moscow states that the decision of the Strasbourg Court is political.
