Russian occupants kidnapped a cleric from Nikozi village near the occupation line. The so-called border guards detained Father David Durglishvili of the Tskhinvali and Nikozi Eparchy, when he together with accompanying persons toas conducting agricultural works on the land at the perimeter of the division line. The others managed to escape.
According to the State Security Service, a cleric has been taken to Tskhinvali isolator. The observer mission has been informed about the incident. This is the second case of detention of a cleric by occupants. The first time was in summer when a priest was kidnapped from the village at the occupation line.
This is the second case of kidnapping a clergyman.
