"I do not want to take part in this farce" said Davit Kirkitadze while listening to the decision of the Gurjaani District Court judge.
The Gurjaani court left Davit Kirkitadze in custody. The defence offered GEL 5000 bail as an alternative to imprisonment for Davit Kikritadze, however, according to the prosecutor, they did not consider it appropriate to use less severe preventive measure against him.
According to the lawyer, today"s decision of the judge contradicted the decision made by the Appeal Court on another case.
Davit Kirkitadze"s lawyer Giorgi Kondakhishvili stated that the verdict of the court itself says that the threat of hiding is not properly justified by the prosecution side.
