Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze will attend Munich Security Conference. The Georgian delegation is already in Munich, which includes the ministers of defense and foreign affairs. Mamuka Bakhtadze"s speech is scheduled at several thematic discussions.
The main issues of the conference are related to strengthening of the EU and transatlantic cooperation this year.This year Munich conference will host an unprecedented number of world leaders. More than 35 states and heads of government will participate in it.
"Very important meetings are planned within the conference. I would like to clarify the meeting with the US Secretary of Defense. We will underline the successful implementation of the Georgian Defense Preparedness Program. In the frames of NATO, our successful cooperation in international missions will also be a subject of consideration, "-Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria said.
