Mamuka Bakhtadze meets with Alexis Tsipras

Georgian Prime Minister has met with his Greek counterpart. Mamuka Bakhtadze and Alexis Tsipras talked about historic connections, friendly relations and higher level of cooperation between Georgia and Greece .
The meeting was held within the Munich Security 55th Conference.
The press service of the Prime Minister of Georgia spreads information about the high level political cooperation between the two countries and the economic potential , including the context of trade relations.The focus was on the process of Georgia"s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, in which the Greek side reiterated its unilateral support.
The Prime Ministers also talked about the current situation in Georgia"s occupied territories and the government"s peace initiative - "Step for a Better Future".
Alexis Tsipras noted that Greece strongly supports Georgia"s territorial integrity and sovereignty and welcomes the pragmatic and constructive approaches of the Georgian government.
