"I will tell you my position - let us say, there is some plant that can
bear good fruit, if the gardener itakes good care of it , creates conditions,it will bear the fruit," said Levan Murusidze, the judge of the Court of Appeals.
According to Murusidze, it was difficult for the court to work till 2012, and after the change of power the judiciary became independent.
"When the court worked under conditions where there was zero tolerance and there were grave laws and we had to respect the laws adopted by Parliament - it was difficult for the Court to work. After 2012, when the guarantees entered and the court was able to work independently, this plant, or the court yielded fruit. This means that if you create good conditions, or if you get the right laws, this system is capable of producing good fruit. Of course there are problems in the court that need to be solved , but there are much progress in the court,"- Murusidze said.
