Two persons were detained for theft in Tbilisi - one of detainees was previously convicted

The officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, have detained two persons charged with theft - N.M. born in 1980 and A. Ch.born in 1988 who was convicted for theft in the past. The MIA spreads information about the crime, which states that the crime envisages from 6 to 10 years of imprisonment.
"Investigation revealed that N.M. had stolen gold jewelry and watches from one of the residential apartments in Panjikidze Street in Tbilisi, where he worked as a cleaner, after which he hid from the scene. He was soon detained by the police
and the stolen goods were seized, "says the statement.
As for A.Ch. he was detained by law enforcers in Chavchavadze Street in Tbilisi on charges of robbery of one of the citizens.The items stolen by him are also removed as evidence. Investigation revealed that A.Ch. has robbed another citizen"s apartment on Chavchavadze Avenue.
Investigation is launched on the fact of theft.
