Tengiz Nazghaidze, who participated in Lado Bedukadze"s beating , has died as a result of the road accident. The accident happened on Zugdidi-Jvari central highway. A Mercedes-Benz car driven by Tengiz Nazghaidze crashed into a truck. Mother of Tengiz Nazghaidze, Shorena Kaldani, who was in the same car has also died.
The TV viewers remember her interview with "Courier" when Kaldani accused Bedukadze of torturing her son in the prison.Two other members of the same family were seriously injured as a result of the accident. One is Shorena Nazaidze"s aunt. They were transferred to Zugdidi referral hospital.
Investigation into the case has been initiated under the Article on violation of Traffic Safety or Exploitation Rules, which envisages from 6 to 10 years of imprisonment.
