Eka Beselia is collecting signatures in parliament. Former Chairperson of the Legal Committee of the Parliament is looking for lawmakers who will support her draft law on the selection criteria of life judges.
Eka Beselia speaks about the necessity of transparency of the process. Everybody should have a chance to nominate a candidate.The project focuses on strengthening the role of the parliament in the process of selection of judges. The MP will presumably register a new legislative initiative tomorrow.
