A Leader of the parliamentary majority denies that the government has a desire to control the existing media outlets in the country.

Archil Talakvadze said that since the day of Georgian Dream came to power in 2012 till now, Rustavi2 works without problems.

"I would like to remind you that Rustavi 2 is one of the most critical television since 2012. Since 2012, when we came to power till now it works without without obstacles and covers all events and facts as they considers it necessary" Archil Talakvadze.
