The owners of catering facilities located in the Adjara-Gonio-Kvariati coast protest against the decision of Batumi City Hall.
According to the decree, dismantling of the objects placed on the coastal zone should be done within 5 days. Small entrepreneurs claim that Bera Ivanishvili"s friends are interested in the coastline and the decision of the City Hall is related to this fact. According to them, the only income of these people is the food facity and they are not going to compromise.
"Show business representatives close to Ivanishvili have interest in Kvariati .They want to take hold of these sectors and carry commercial activities for years," said Manakelidze, the participant of the rally.
Mikheil Bolkvadze, the member of the United National Movement"s Adjara organization says that interest in Gonio-Kvariati"s line has Bera Ivanishvili and his friends. According to Bolkvadze, the Head of Adjara government was ordered to clean this area from existing food facilities.The Batumi City Hall has been refraining from making a statement.
