The Deputy Secretary General of the EU Foreign Policy Department, Pedro Serrano is on his first official visit to Georgia. Levan Izoria, Minister of Defense of Georgia met with the EU representative.
The General held a lecture-seminar for defense representatives. Pedro Serrano spoke about the current changes in the EU, as well as the mechanisms of cooperation between the EU and Georgia.
Levan Izoria drew attention to the progress achieved in the implementation of the commitments by the Defense Ministry. "Two weeks ago the fifth meeting of the EU-Georgia Association Council was held, where the Vice President of the European Commission Mrs. Megherini once again underlined the success Georgia has achieved in the implementation of the Association Agreements," said Levan Izoria.
