"This is clearly a confirmation that NATO recognizes the reforms implemented by the country," the statement was made by First Deputy Defense Minister Lela Chikovani about a scheduled visit of Jens Stoltenberg.
NATO Secretary General will arrive in Georgia tomorrow. Jens Stoltenberg will meet with the Prime Minister, President and MPs.
He will also attend the second NATO-Georgia exercise in which the Alliance member and partner countries are participating.
According to Lela Chikovani, Jens Stoltenberg"s visit is another confirmation of NATO"s support.
"This is clearly a confirmation that NATO recognizes the country"s reforms and the transformation line in the direction of mutual understanding with NATO and reiterates confidence in the Georgian defense forces,"- Lela Chikovani said.The training is underway at the Training and Evaluation Center. This is the third visit of the NATO Secretary General to Georgia. Stoltenberg will stay in Tbilisi one day.
