The National Movement responded to the detention of Marneuli Sakrebulo member Ragim Askimov, with a special briefing today.The opposition links the fact to political persecution and accuses the government of organizing provocations.
According to Zurab Melikishvili, Ragim Askimov could not employ anyone. Therefore, there is no motivation for bribery. The main goal of the government is to reduce the number of opposition members by means of prosecution against opponents.
