"We are not going to go to the president, elected by thieves" - Protest of those, who have signed Independence Restoration Act

Those, who have signed the Independence Restoration Act express their protest to Salome Zourabichvili. A part of the Supreme Council members, who supported the restoration of independence on April 9, 1991 are not going to attend an event, organized by Salome Zurabishvili tomorrow.

As d MPs of the Supreme Council say, they do not want to hear the false congratulations from the President, who used to support Puttschits and publishes publications against the country"s legitimate authorities.

" Once she wrote a letter : " Jaba Ioseliani, Tengiz Sigua, Kitovani are Democrats and are fighting against tyranny. I welcome their victory." . All these statements were directed against Zviad Gamsakhurdia. That"s why, despite respect to the state institutions, my state, my country, it"s hard for me to visit the president who has contributed to overthrow the legitimate government, " - says Revaz Kemularia, the former member of the Supreme Council.

Former members of the Supreme Council comment on the presidential elections as well. Bimurza Dedhekeliani-Aprasidze says that Salome Zourabichvili is the president of the thieves and he is not going to the event tomorrow.

"I do not intend to go to the President. elected by thieves and elected president of the thieves and recognize her, "says Bimurza Dadeshkeliani-Aprasidze.

Former members of the Supreme Council state that they do not cooperate with the government, which does not investigate the murder of Zviad Gamsakhurdia.

The former members of the Supreme Council also say that their decision to express open protest against the President is caused by Salome Zourabichvili"s personality.
"If we consider a person of Salome Zourabichvili, I guess she will not be able to say if she should congratulate or express her condolence regarding this day. Because he fought against Georgia"s independence and statehood then, afterwards she welcomed the war between Russia and Georgia and called it a democratic revolution, like Shevardnadze. If we take into consideration the events of recent years all her statements are directed against Georgia, "Nemo Burchuladze said.
