In parallel to a break, announced on the session, a special meeting is underway in Irakli Kobakhidze"s office -the ruling team meets the Chairman of Parliament.

Presumably, the parliamentary majority will discuss the issue of appointment of judges of the Supreme Council. The sitting has started with a noisy dispute.

It should be established today, which recommendations of the Venice Commission will be included in the draft law on the selection of judges of the Supreme Court.

The opposition was demanding time for the MPs to get acquainted with the new project. Parliamentary Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze accused political opponents of violating the Rules of Procedure.
