Three persons detained for robbery of Liberty Bank

Law enforcers detained three persons in connection with the robbery of Liberty Bank in Varketili as the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kakha Sabanadze stated at the briefing held today.

According to the agency, three armed men attacked the Varketili branch of Liberty Bank and took away GEL 2030.
The robbers injured two people in the bank, who were transferred to the hospital.

Police seized the robbed money as evidence.

All three detainees had been previously convicted. They face prison term from 6 to 9 years if convicted.
