Two Georgian citizens were detained at the occupation line. The inhabitants of Nikozi Gabriel Melanashvili and Tamaz Mchedlidze were charged by the occupants with illegal crossing of the border.
According to the current information, the detainees are in Tskhinvali isolator and the occupation regime demands 800 GEL as a penalty.
The state security service confirms the detention in Nikozi. According to their information, the hot line is activated and the EU Monitoring Mission is informed about the incident.
